Jags break streak
Allen Park was waiting almost nine years for a victory on its home course at Champaign Park.
The Jags finally got one Thursday.
The hosts saw an average improvement of 20 seconds per runner as they knocked off Lincoln Park in a Downriver League dual meet.
James Cusin easily won the race and Chris Traylor and Scott Povish secured the victory by coming home second and third.
Josh Hoglin and Jeremy Rafter completed the scoring for the Jaguars, who also saw Tony Carbonaro, Drew Jordan and Brad Furgerson turn in new season-best performances.
Allen Park will be at Saturday’s Monroe Jefferson Invitational.
