Brooke Austin and her Woodhaven teammates wrapped up the Downriver League championship last week.
Woodhaven put a bow on its girls’ cross country Downriver League championship, holding off a strong Trenton push by two points to win the league outright.
After winning the regular season tri-meet schedule undefeated, the Warriors scored 43 points for first place, besting the Trojanettes (45) and third place Roosevelt (57) at the final DRL jamboree.
Anderson was fourth (106), Allen Park fifth (114) and Carlson was sixth (161).
Lincoln Park and Kennedy both didn’t score as a team with one runner each.
