ALLEN PARK — Daniel Garnell enjoys playing cards. You can deal him in any time.
Garnell, 29, of Allen Park, a lifelong member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, coordinates monthly euchre tournaments at the church.
“People of all ages come,” he said.
The only requirement is a player must be at least in the ninth grade. All are welcome. There are people who have played for years, and those who have just learned the game at the tournaments.
The tournaments began last year as a way to bring out people to play cards, have fun and raise money for charity. They are held monthly except June and December.
