Stautzenberger College of Ohio said today it will relocate its Livonia campus to the site of Unity Studios in Allen Park. It will offer classes in the entertainment industry, health care, and business management.
The college signed a lease with the City of Allen Park to relocate its Stautzenberger Institute from Livonia to the newly founded site of Unity Studios at 16630 Southfield Road, south of I-94. Stautzenberger will begin offering Health & Wellness and Medical courses in 2010. More programs will launch over the next year, including courses in Media Arts.
“Stautzenberger’s move to our Unity Studios complex is another sign of the growth of Michigan’s film industry,” said Allen Park Mayor Gary Burtka.
Burtka said the college will operate cooperatively with the Lifton Institute for Media Skills, part of the Unity Studios project that opened recently.
