Lincoln Park suffered its first loss of the season last Thursday, but Coach Todd Tobin couldn’t complain.
The Melvindale Academy for Business and Technology, featuring star senior Michael Talley, needed a late spurt to put the Railsplitters away for a 74-61 victory at Henry Ford Community College.
“It was a great back-and-forth game,” Tobin said. “We showed we can play with them.”
Lincoln Park led briefly in the third quarter before ABT rallied to take a 53-45 lead into the final period.
