With one minute to play and with the score knotted 42-42, Angela Broggi hit the game-winning shot to give Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard a 44-42 victory over Allen Park Cabrini.
“I’m happy with the way we battled,” said Father Gabriel Richard coach Matt Carroll. Broggi also had eight rebounds in the contest.
Logan Sims had a team-high 11 points, and Sarah Falvey chipped in 10 for the Fighting Irish (4-7, 3-2 Catholic League) who are now in first place in the Catholic League West Division.
