ALLEN PARK — Police are looking for a robber who hit Fifth Third bank at 15606 Southfield Road this morning.
At about 9 a.m., a man entered the bank and passed a teller a note that said, “This is a stickup; give me $75,000.”
Detective Lt. Jim Wilkewitz said no weapon was seen or implied.
The man took the note and some cash with him, and was last seen heading toward Ram’s Horn restaurant, 15544 Southfield Road.
He is described as black, 32 to 38 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 280 pounds.
A witness saw what police described as a suspicious 1990s era Lincoln Continental or Town Car, but did not see the man get into the car.
