CROSS COUNTRY: News-Herald Cross Country Invitational Results

The 25th Annual News-Herald Cross Country Invitational featured repeat champions in the varsity girls race and team results today at Patriots Park in Riverview.

Allen Park’s Sabrina Williams won the varsity girls race for the second straight year with a time of 19:56. Huron’s Carley Wolcott finished second and Woodhaven’s Cassie Breen finished third.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Allen Park sweeps tri-meet

Allen Park came out on top of a tri-meet with Anderson and Melvindale at Willow Metro Park on Thursday.

The Jaguars won 20-41 over the Titans and 15-50 against Melvindale.
