The best scoring chance came with about 4 minutes left, when an Allen Park forward blasted a shot off the crossbar. The Pirates had their chances throughout the game, but could not find the scoring touch [...] The always-entertaining Downriver League soccer regular season wrapped up last week, and the big finish in the finale was – as usual –anything but predictable. Allen Park upset league leader Anderson 4-3 in double overtime Thursday, shaking up first place for the last time.
